For LGBTQ history month IIT’s Office of Student Life has lined up a great series of events spanning the entire month. See the full schedule here.

In particular, the Humanities Department is sponsoring two film events on Oct 3rd and October 13th: on the 3rd, see a gripping documentary about the 1969 Stonewall Riots–an event that led to our modern understanding of gay rights. On the 13th, see a film about codebreaker and war hero Alan Turing, dubbed “the father of AI” for his early contributions to computing.
